Thank you to The Sea Letter for including my poem “Fever” in issue 9. Soon after writing “Fever” in response to my daughter and I being sick at the same time, the pandemic hit the United States. When I wrote the poem, I didn’t know what the following months would hold or that I wouldn’t write another poem for more than eight months. Finally, this month, I have begun writing again. I’m glad that “Fever” found such a safe home in the lovely pages of The Sea Letter. The Sea Letter is a print journal of poetry, prose and art (each print piece paired with an art piece). Visit their shop for issue 9 and past issues, and visit their submission page to send in your own work.
